In 2000, Cameron completed his primary degree at De Montfort University Bedford in the UK, where he studied and gained a BSC Honours degree in Sports Science and Environmental Science. Having also completed his PGCE at DMU Bedford in 2002, he began teaching Physical Education in several schools in Bedford amassing 14 years of teaching experience.

In addition to teaching Physical Education across all phases of the English National Curriculum and the IB curriculum Cameron has undertaken a variety of leadership roles including, Head of PE and Director of Sport. Motivated by the idea of ‘sport for all’, Cameron believes elite sport performance and mass participation can go hand in hand.

Prior to joining Jumeira Baccalaureate School, Cameron was working as a Deputy Head teacher in a specialist behavioural school in Milton Keynes, UK which provided him with invaluable senior leadership experience.

Now in his 6th year at Jumeira Baccalaureate School, Cameron is still teaching PE but he is now a part of the schools Senior Leadership Team as an Assistant Headteacher of extended learning. Cameron’s focus is on developing the learning of the students beyond the classroom.

A keen sports performer himself, Cameron has played soccer at a high standard playing for Nottingham Forest FC youth team before playing for numerous clubs at a semi-professional level for the past 20 years.

In his spare time Cameron still seeks to compete and push himself in different sporting activities, along with reading, cooking and travelling.

With a wide experience in leadership and Arabic teaching and learning in Lebanon, Oman and Abu Dhabi, Imad joined JBS in 2013 as Director of Arabic. He holds an MA in Arabic language and literature, a BA in Arabic language and literature, a teaching diploma (Arabic teaching and learning) from the Lebanese university and has also completed his NPQSL (National professional qualification for senior leaders) from the National College for Teaching and Leadership. Imad is an IBMYP workshop leader and an IB SVTM (School visit team member). He’s a French educated linguist who is interested of language learning. He is an author for HarperCollins; where he published stories as a contribution to their Arabic BigCat readers. He also wrote down an Arabic visual dictionary for HarperCollins as well as writing the lesson plans for all their 42 readers. Imad plays Oud and loves to share his music with students for a better learning.
