Jumeira Baccalaureate School (JBS) is a leading IB World School in the heart of Jumeirah, offering the full IB Continuum from Pre-KG to Grade 12. Students progress through the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), Career-related Programme (CP) and Diploma Programme (DP), providing a connected, internationally recognised educational journey.
At the heart of JBS is our truly international community. With more than 97 nationalities represented on campus, our students learn in a diverse, inclusive environment that celebrates different cultures, languages and perspectives while developing the global outlook at the core of an IB education.
A key feature of JBS is our unique Francophone Programme for native French speakers, enabling students to develop and maintain a high level of French throughout their education. This is complemented by our outstanding Arabic and Islamic Studies programme, which provides a strong connection to the language, culture and values of the UAE.
Our approach extends beyond academic achievement. Character Education is embedded within the JBS experience, supporting students in developing the positive values, virtues and personal qualities they need to flourish both at school and beyond. In 2020, JBS became the first school outside the UK to receive the Quality Mark Award from the Association for Character Education.
JBS is also a member of KiVa, the evidence-based anti-bullying programme developed by the University of Turku in Finland, further strengthening our commitment to positive relationships, student wellbeing and a safe and supportive school environment.
